2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run

Chief Court Constable Tom Chidester, Court Constable Rick Gilts and BGSU interns participated in the 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics June 21, 2011 in Wood County.

This year is the 25th Anniversary of the Ohio Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, which is the largest grass roots fundraiser for Special Olympics. We started in Maumee and made stops at several sponsors including Kroger. We had lunch at the Wood County Courthouse Complex and then continued to North Baltimore where the torch continued to move south to Columbus, its final destination.
