Association Objective

To promote professionalism among dog wardens and animal control officers; provide information and educational activities for dog wardens and animal control officers that will increase their proficiency; to provide the public with information of the activities and responsibilities of dog wardens and animal control agencies; to support legislation that will increase the effectiveness of dog wardens and animal control officers; and to do all things necessary and proper to implement the purpose of this association.

General Information

For over twenty five years the Northwestern Ohio Dog Warden and Animal Control Officers Association has been at work to promote the professionalism and integrity among the animal control agencies. Monthly meetings and various seminars are held where members receive advanced training, increase proficiency, and remain up to date on animal control legislation. Meetings offer animal control agencies the ability to enhance their performance and work together in an effort to Improve the animal control industry.


Membership Information

The Northwest Ohio Dog Warden and Animal Control Officers Association offers educational activities, advanced training, a chance to associate with other agencies, and additional services to members.

Members of the Northwest Association receive benefits such as reduced prices on training and seminars as well as information regarding upcoming legislation. The Northwest Association also provides updates on the Ohio County Dog Wardens Association activities in an effort to keep members informed. All Northwest Ohio Dog Warden and Animal Control Officers are encouraged to join.


Individual Membership costs $35.00 per year
