The Ohio Ethics Commission promotes ethics in public service to strengthen the public's confidence that Government business is conducted with impartiality and integrity. The Commission was established as part of the Ohio Ethics Law in 1973. |

Elections Assistance Commission (EAC)
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) was established by the Help America Vot Act of 2002 (HAVA). EAC is an independent, bipartisan commission charged with developing guidance to meet HAVA requirements, adopting voluntary voting system guidelines, and serving as a national cleainghouse of informationĀ on election administration. EAC also accredits testing laboratories and certifies voting systems, as well as audits the use of HAVA funds.
