The Wood County Juvenile Court is now utilizing a new GPS/House Arrest Monitoring System. Ohio AMS has successfully monitored thousands of clients for courts in Ohio since 2005. The Wood County Juvenile Court Probation Department went through training in May of 2017 and on May 31, 2017, the first youth was placed on this House Arrest Monitoring System which utilizes current GPS technology. This system can be used while pending court or as a dispositional option for youth.

Parents may request drug screens for their children through the Juvenile Court. The reduced costs for these screens are $2 for a drug screen for a single drug and $15 for a screen for multiple drugs. Please contact the Juvenile Court's Probation Department for details.

CASA/GAL volunteer applications are being accepted for future training opportunities. Contact CASA/GAL program office at 419-352-3554 for an application packet.
